The Washington State Prayer Targets are developed by an apostolic and prophetic council of leaders representing the church, government, business, education, healthcare, media and family spheres each month. Proverbs 24:3-6 admonishes us that there is wisdom in a multitude of counsel. By wise counsel build and by wise counsel wage war. So with that in mind, we invite you to do the word found in Isaiah 44:6-7 which says, “Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me…”
Washington Gun Law Reviews Recent Crime Reports
An attorney from Washington Gun Law reviews a recent report of crime in Washington State. It begins around the 1:15 minute mark. It reveals that we are the 8th most dangerous state (1:30) in the US. In the last 12 years this administration has promised their policies “Gun Control” policies would make Washington safer and save lives. The numbers tell a much different story. Since 2014 (3:20) the number of homicides have doubled, 172 in 2014 to 394 in 2022. By 2023 the number of homicides in Seattle TRIPLED! On a national basis, crime seems to be going down, in Washington State. A recent FBI report notes that since 2020 to 2022 the rate of violent crime in our state increased by 81% (4.00). That’s just violent crime. In property crimes, our state ranks NUMBER ONE (4:30).
This provides context for the condition of this state, it’s failed policies, because their policies are based upon a wrong worldview (one without God). If we were to look at taxes, the ecnonomy etc…. we’d find similar numbers. It’s bad. It’s also a perfect sign of a people who choose to ignore God’s word. See Deuteronomy 28:15-36.
Church Sphere
Troy from Northwest Life Center chairs the Church council. He says the need for the restoration of David’s Tabernacle (24/7 prayer, praise, and worship) interacting and working with leaders from the 7 spheres of society has never been greater. Let us pray and proclaim:
- There is an increase in the revelation of covenant and unity.
- We rejoice as we see an increase in the anointing for deliverance, healing and souls saved.
- The remnant, the bridal company of believers make themselves ready and prepare (pre-prayer) the way of the LORD come forth (Joel 2:1-3:14, Matthew 24, 2 Peter 3:10-12).
- For the salvation of Israel, the peace at Jerusalem and our Father’s will regarding the end-time events. Romans 11:1, Psalm 122, Joel 2-3, Daniel 7:9-25, Revelation 19-22 Deuteronomy 32:26-29 and Zechariah 12-14.
- That the fire of purification visiting the Church would also prepare us for persecution and the Day of the LORD. 1 Peter 3:10-12
- Recognize one of the biggest weapons Satan uses is accusation, deception and illusion. Let us pray for a maturing of the Church who’ll destroy the works of the enemy (1 John 3:8), speak the truth (Ephesians 4:15), restore the fallen (Galatians 6:1-2) and deliver and heal the afflicted. (Mark 16:15-17, Matthew 28:19-20, Isaiah 61).
- We pray for an awakening to occur among the youth with regard to discipleship, house churches, church planting, and that evangelism would explode in this state.
- There is a forming up of the army of the LORD church by church and that Holy Spirit inspired strategic communcation systems would reside in each church, city, county and nation.
- God is dropping a plumbline. Pray we choose to align ourselves with God’s word and truth.
Virginia from FireStorm chairs the family mountain and she says pray that:
- That a revelation of the power of forgiveness would sweep through this state.
- A student led praise and worship event comes together for a local Federal Way middle school.
- Families will prepare their hearts for the Messiah. They will make new covenants with God as they seek His face, putting time aside for Him. They will not let schooling or sports take over the time that is God’s.
- Parents will talk and pray with their children/young adults regarding Israel and what is happening in our country and the world.
- Pray for our single young adults. College age and older are struggling to find spouses.
- Declare that families will regroup take their strength from the Lord and continue to fight in behalf of their children. during this time during congress. (many parents get overwhelmed by so many bills needing dealt with).
Government Sphere

The recent Republican Party’s convention reveals a groaning that begs for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:14 & 22). It seems as if James 3:5-4:6 serves as the basis of this groaning. The boasting reveals the egos and selfish goals which sets up many tongues to set the world on fire. The wisdom manifested earthly and demonic as envy, self seeking and confusion was the fruit.
- James 3:17-18
7 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. (NKJV) - Men and women to serve in offices who (Amos 5:15) hate evil, love good, and establish justice in the gate. Men and women of character who carry an attitude of servant leadership.
- Recognize that the socialist Democrat Left is on the ropes and they know it. Therefore they seek to use media and other sources to cast dispersions, speak defeat, cause divisions and sow discord. We pray for the wisdom from James 3:17-18 to be made manifest as well as 2 Corinthians 2:10-11
Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, 11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. - The AG’s attempt to run for governor would fail. All of his policies, stances and actions have been contrary to truth, freedom and life. The results of his and the governor’s policies are manifested through the Washington Gun Law video above.
- That the Church would wake up and choose candidates and policies that are not at odds with God’s word (2 Samuel 23:3…. He who rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God) thereby making them an enemy of the cross of Christ because their god has become their belly. (Philippians 3:19)
- We pray for the removal of all those NOT CALLED to this mountain and for those whom Christ has called for the long term to rise to the top and secure offices whereby our state might be blessed by righteous decisions rather than suffer because of foolish evil decisions based on lies.
- The cult like expressions of ego that are remincient of James 3:5-16 which are proud and defile many (vs.6) through their deadly use of a tongue which sets the world on fire are quenched by the shalom of God which are manifested through those who manifest the character of those who release the wisdom that is from above (James 3:13-4:7) which ends the war and fights and give us those who through humility trust God to place them in office. It reminds me of the statesmanship that Rep. Jim Walsh often displays. James 4:7-10 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
- We call forth men and women to serve who’ll display the character and wisdom of the prophet and statesmanship like Daniel, Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego did for the long term in the Babylonian kingdom.
- Those who are deceitful, liars, are snared in the very trap they set.
- That there comes a unity among the Conservatives that hold a Biblical worldview that will serve as a magnet to the marginalized and disillusionsed on the Left.
- We declare the next initiative gets the 425k signatures in the required time and that there is a great turnover in Olympia in the next election that puts the socialist godless Left out of power.
- We call forth a maturing of the body of Christ as they take responsibility to rise up and engage society to become salt and light.
Business Sphere
Doug Basler of Prologue Digital chairs this council. Contrary to what Washington DC and Olympia say, the economy is contracting, taxes are rising as is the cost of doing business making it very difficult as government inteferrence in the economy manufactures so many problems that continue to rob people of their wealth and freedom. Today, Seattle has the 4th highest cost of living of any city in the US.
Let us pray, proclaim and declare:
- God’s people, business people, would prosper and they would continue to be generous and give tithes, offerings, first fruits, and alms. That they would be like Isaac who sowed in the land of famine and then that year reaped 100-fold. (Genesis 26:12)
- That they would not give to dead works nor use their profit for unclean use, but would rather, pray and put it where God shows them…. where God chooses to make His name abide. (Deuteronomy 26:13-15).
- That Dave Hodsgon’s message of “that all shall prosper” would permeate society’s understanding and our state.
- Interest rates and inflation would level out.
- That God’s people would be innovative and a spirit of excellence would permeate their services.
- That God would give His people witty inventions and ideas of how to position themselves to no only prosper for effect God’s will in their respective areas of service.
Education Sphere
Kathy is a retired teacher who says a local teacher reported: The plans of the enemy to remove God from schools have taken full effect.
Let us pray for:
An end to the uprising and protests at college and university campuses, for the truth of who the backers of these protests to be revealed, violence will be thwarted, no harm will come to any person and peace will reign.
An increase in the numbers of teachers and educational staff who disagree with what they are being required to do would begin to or continue to stand against these policies and practices, and the changing mindsets of these would impact the leadership by deflating the power and authority of those in charge. As a result, policies, practices, beliefs and instruction would become righteous and true.
For the angels assigned to the sphere of education to reveal the secrets of God to all who are in education: students, teachers, administrators, curriculum writers, and to block all the lies perpetuated by the enemy.
Strength and focus for teachers and students as they move to the finish of the school year.

Media Sphere
Doug Basler works in this sphere. We live in a day where there is a cacophony of confusion proceeding from the diverse media sphere. The prince of the power of the air seeks to control these platforms to sow discord, division, untruths, lies and desctruction.
Let us pray and proclaim:
- The confusion like white noise is getting louder and louder. Pray the truth is exalted and proclaimed.
- There is a war on truth. Pray the lies are defeated.
- The media has become an instrument in the enemies hand to do Isaiah 5:20 where they call evil good and good evil. Pray these platforms are taken over by truth tellers and people with integrity or they are destroyed.
- Big pharma and other industries seek to advertise products which have a small audience. The goal is not so much to reach that small audience as it is to become such a profitable venture for media that media will choose to ignore any lie they want to sell. It’s like a bribe.
- The First Nations on Vancoubver Island introduced a great concept to the British Parliment using a Truth Stick. It reminded them that even when they disagreed, they communicated respectfully. Pray that respectful dialogue would return to society.
- The crowdfunded project producing “The Chosen” has seen a great response to the release of season 4. There has been an increase in quality faithbased films being released as well.
Pray that the First Amendment which protects free speech remains intact.
Pray for the Tucker Carlson’s and James Okeefe’s who will not comprimise to continue to emerge in this season on all media platforms.
Healthcare Sphere
Diana a retired nurse chairs the healthcare council. Join with us in praying for her to be healed and free from breast cancer. She is praying and we agree with Exodus 15:26, Ps. 91:9,10 & 14, Ps. 103:1-5, Isaiah 53:3-5.
