At the Nehemiah Alliance Sacred Assembly in Washington, DC, Kingdom League offered the nations a proven path: build the wall of prayer in every home, every church and every city
On Reformation Day, October 31, 2026, Tim Taylor, bishop of Kingdom League International and the apostolic architect of “One Church One Day,” stood on the National Mall and declared that it was time to build the wall of prayer.
The door opened only nine days earlier. On October 22, KLI’s Government/Business Council chair Barker received an invitation to speak for the Nehemiah Alliance, and he made sure Tim and Kingdom League were invited too. In John’s words, the event was tailor-made for One Church One Day.
Why the Nehemiah Alliance and One Church One Day fit
The Nehemiah Alliance calls believers to rebuild the walls through 52 days of prayer. The Prayer Wall Strategy is a 52-day plan that equips pastors and heads of household to build a wall of prayer in their homes and then in their local churches.
Within eight days, the Alliance added The Prayer Wall Strategy to its resource page. Bishop Taylor and John Barker were scheduled to speak at 3:33 p.m., a reminder of Jeremiah 33:3: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
A gathering of the nations
The Alliance reported early results:
- More than 200 speakers and worship leaders
- All 50 states and 110 nations represented
- More than 7 million television and livestream viewers
- More than 137,745 decisions for Christ reported as of Friday, before Saturday’s assembly
The KLI communion team served communion to every speaker, including Coach Kennedy of Washington State, who won his First Amendment case for the right to pray at the Supreme Court.
From the home to the city: the path the event set up
The Nehemiah event set the stage. The strategy that follows it is three steps:
- The home. The Prayer Wall Strategy builds a wall of prayer in your household over 52 days.
- The local church. The same plan raises a wall of prayer in your congregation.
- The city or region. Through One Church One Day, each church takes one day of prayer. Thirty-one churches cover a city with prayer 24/7/365 and establish a governing table for the region.
This is the pattern of David’s tabernacle: continual prayer, praise, and worship that prepares the way for the LORD. It is not theory. It has been proven across cultures and is repeatable.
“Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.” — Nehemiah 4:14
