A watchdog, America First, sues Washington state over SB 5599 gross overreach of parental rights! It is part of the culture war being waged in our nation and this state. This law violates moral boundaries and truths established for thousands of years. What moral boundary am I talking about? The family! Parental rights. Hence the truth is, this culture war and SB 5599 is in truth a spiritual war being waged through politics and government.
Genesis 1-3 illustrates a number of truths. God created mankind. Mankind consists of a man and a woman. These two can come together as one and their intimacy results in children. The parents are the ones who have responsibility for and authority over their children before they mature and become adults.
Simple! It’s a perfect example of an attempt to legalize acts that are in truth morally lawless.
Making a law that defies eternal truths and God’s moral law is an example of lawlessness. Lawlessness is spoken of in 1 Thessalonians 2:8-9 and guess who is ultimately behind that? Satan!
Did you know that when the kings of Israel and Judah instituted laws and policies that “made Israel sin” it invited judgment on the nation? Yeah! Every example in scripture where this is referred to was because they legalized an act or instituted a policy that was actually an action the Bible describes as iniquity or an abomination.
This bill is unfortunately a perfect example, an evil example, of that. This abomination only expedites the judgment on this state and the loving thing to do for the populace is to stop it.
The Culture War is a Spiritual War
Revelation 12 reveals how Satan and his demons were cast to earth and he went to make war with those who obeyed God and kept His commands.
The culture war is a war of conflicting ideas. It is lies verses the truth. John 8:44 reveals that Satan is the father of lies and Jesus is the Word made flesh, He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!
1 John 3:8 reveals that Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the evil one. If the evil one tells a lie, then how is that lie destroyed expect by speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).
Revelation 1:6 and 5:10 reveals that Jesus calls believers as kings and priests and in 19:11 Jesus models what a king does. He decides and makes war to enforce His decision.
What Does the Bible Say?
Psalm 97:10 reveals if you love God you hate evil.
Ephesians 3:10 reveals that God chose through the Church to deal with principalities and powers.
Amos 5:15
15 Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate.
The Old Testament if filled with examples of God sending His prophets to confront kings and address policies and national sins and call them to repent. In the book of Acts we find Paul speaking to King Agrippa, a proconsul and then appealing to Ceasar.
2 Corinthians 5:20 reveals we are ambassadors of Christ. We have a responsibility to enforce the will of King Jesus and speak the truth in love while doing Amos 5:15.

Father, we pray this evil law found in SB 5599 is cut off and families and children are protected from this state’s evil overreach.
