The Missing Plank, the Storm & the Rainbow—Preparing the Way Together
Join Tim Taylor for Apostolic Perspectives: Learning From the Signs & Wonders
What if a missing piece in your city is a person God has already sent?
That question gets to the heart of what we believe the LORD emphasized during Kingdom League International’s 2026 Prepare the Way Leadership Summit.
A flock of coots. A missing plank mentioned in three prophetic words before the Summit. A storm on the final day, followed by a rainbow.
Each became part of a testimony we’ll explore at our next Apostolic Perspectives gathering. Together, they brought fresh attention to the people, relationships and covenant commitments needed to prepare the way.
The missing plank carried a particularly personal challenge.
We believe God has already positioned apostles and prophets in cities around the world—servants who may be unknown to wider ministry circles, yet carry gifts their communities need. The challenge is to recognize, honor and make room for those whom He has sent.
Ephesians 2:20 describes the Church as built on the foundation of apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ Himself as the chief cornerstone. How should that shape the way we recognize and work with these gifts today?
Could we be asking God to send help while overlooking someone He has already placed among us?
Then came the storm—and the rainbow.
On the Summit’s final day, a storm followed by a rainbow gave added significance to our teaching about arks, ARCs—Apostolic Resource Centers—and the need for covenant.
The rainbow’s biblical connection to covenant is clear in Genesis 9:12–17. As we reflected on these events, we saw a timely invitation to consider how covenant relationships can help the Church prepare, serve and stand together.
An ARC requires more than a name or a building. It calls for people willing to bring their gifts together, accept responsibility and serve a shared assignment under King Jesus.
Join us as we explore:
-
The flock of coots and the other Summit experiences—and what we believe we can learn from them.
-
The missing plank and the importance of recognizing apostles and prophets already serving in our communities.
-
Arks, Apostolic Resource Centers and the covenant relationships needed to build together.
Whether you attended the Summit or are hearing these testimonies for the first time, you’re invited. Come ready to consider the Scriptures, hear the testimonies and prayerfully examine what these lessons could mean for your community.
Apostolic Perspectives meets every third Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
