Signs, Wonders & God’s Government in Texas!

On April 13, 2019 Warring Dove International hosted me at a church in Fort Worth Texas. As I have witnessed throughout the years many times God marked the message I was giving with lightning and thunderstorms and even some tornadoes.  My assignment that day was to present the 1Church1Day strategy which was previously called Operation Rolling Thunder.

It’s a strategy that helps the Church in a network, local area or a region establish continual prayer, praise and worship which seats the courtroom of heaven. It is a modern application of the pattern that King David used in Mount Zion to establish 24/7 prayer so that the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, Counsel and Might would be invited into the presence of his councils.

In Lamentations 5:14 and 18 we find that when Zion is desolate, the elders no longer gathered in the gates.  Besides re-establishing 24/7 the strategy includes a practical method for actually seating the elders back in the gates so to speak.  We use the 7 mountains or 7 spheres along with the five fold ministry as a starting place to do that.  In a sense, its a way to establish God’s government on earth as it is in heaven.

In Exodus 18 and 20 we find a type and a shadow of this. Here, Moses established order in the camp by choosing “men who fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness, and to place them as rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifty, and rulers of tens.”  Then he went up to Mount Sinai where God gave him the 10 Commandments.  Here, God’s presence encountered Moses, the earth and the atmosphere.  We find lightning and thundering associated with God’s presence and His voice.  We find these kinds of testimonies all
through scripture and I’ve found it still happens today.

Exodus 20:18-19 Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off. Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die

In my book, Operation Rolling Thunder – Revised Edition click here you’ll find the history of the strategy now known as 1Church1Day.  Using King David’s pattern which he established in the tabernacle on Mount Zion we establish 24/7 prayer, praise and worship.  Why?  It’s because prayer, praise and worship are the atmosphere of heaven and it makes God welcome here on earth.  Psalm 18:6-14 was the scripture God used to help name this strategy Operation Rolling Thunder in 2004.  The sweet Psalmist of Israel, King David penned this Psalm saying,

Psalms 18:6-14 In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry. Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down With darkness under His feet. And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters And thick clouds of the skies. From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire. The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire. He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them.

There are numerous other scriptures that speaks of what happens when God’s presence encounters earth’s atmosphere such as in Psalm 68:8 where it says “the heavens dropped rain at the presence of God.”  It goes on to say the Lord sent a plentiful rain whereby You confirmed Your inheritance.

This Was a Familiar Sign and Wonder
Many times in years past I’ve seen God mark this message with thunderstorms, thundersnow, tornadoes (whirlwinds) or hurricanes, earthquakes etc.  It’s been a while since I shared the strategy in a new area like I did in Texas and I found the same signs continued to follow and mark God’s word.

My wife,Brenda, has said many times before that many who see the signs and wonders often don’t perceive it’s significance. God gave these signs primarily for me.  He knows I’ve studied His word and have discovered what the earth does when His presence shows up.  It encourages me to continue until we see the results and fruit of doing His word.

It’s my hope that in sharing this that you’ll choose to discover and learn about the word God marked. He marks it because He wants to highlight it because He wants us to act upon His word.  Do you know what I’ve learned about signs and wonders?

God Uses Signs to Put His Mark on a Page of His-story
In my book Operation Rolling Thunder I share a revelation God gave me about how He uses signs.  He said to me once that whenever His people choose to obey His word they make His-story (history) and sometimes He chooses to put His signature on that page of history with a sign that should make us wonder.

When you see the pictures below, remember the scriptures above.  The first 4 pictures are from NBC News referring to the day I presented the strategy.  The next two pictures were taken at the Chickasaw Nation in Oklahoma as we drove down on April 12th.  It reminded me of  Zechariah 2:8-9 For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.

The last picture was taken on April 15th as I was departing.  Apostle Lisa along with Tami and Crystal were taking me to the airport when Crystal drew our attention to the cloud formation and looked like an angel and a trumpet.  It reminds me of the 7 trumpets the angels blew in Revelation 8-9 which preceded the 7 thunders of God.
