Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints, Psalm 116:15. On Saturday we joined Don Bell and Gery’s family to mourn and celebrate. We mourned with them as her passing was so unexpected. Simultaneously, it was a time for many to celebrate her life and her graduation into our heavenly Father’s presence.

Honoring the Role Don & Gery Had in the KLI Family
As we mourn the loss of a dear sister in the Lord we also celebrate her life devoted to serving our Heavenly Father and her family and all those who knew her. We are so thankful the Lord choice to connect us and we are grateful for their partnership with KLI.
When they began co-laboring with us, there was nothing but a vision. Today, decades later, there many around the globe who’ve been blessed and served and I have no doubt she will share in these rewards as well.
Her memorial reminded me of:
2 Timothy 4:6-8
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
1 Corinthians 3:6-9
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building
As we listened to Gery’s family speak, I could not help but think of Proverbs 31:23-31 where it ends saying, “let her own works praise her in the gates.”
23 Her husband is known in the gates,
When he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
And supplies sashes for the merchants.
25 Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates
Join us in Praying for Don & His Family
Don, know that we are praying with and for you and your family and that you and your ministry would hit the mark for its assignment in Christ. I’d like to invite the KLI family to join me in praying for Don’s family.
With much love and gratitude.
Tim & Brenda
