We are making encouraging progress on the development of 1Church1Day.org, the new online home for the One Church One Day strategy.
For more than three decades, the strategy (CONECT/ORT/1Church1Day) has helped leaders mobilize prayer, strengthen relationships, and unite churches around a shared vision for their city or region. Leaders in more than 38 nations have used principles from this strategy, and we are now building the digital infrastructure needed to serve and connect a much larger global movement.
The Purpose of Version One
The first version of 1Church1Day.org is being designed around two primary goals.
First, we want to give individuals, churches, ministries, and city leaders a simple way to place themselves on an interactive map and indicate their interest in—or current use of—the One Church One Day strategy.
A person may be exploring the strategy, preparing to launch it, or already actively using it in their city or region. The map will help reveal where interest and activity are emerging around the world.
Second, we want to help people connect locally.
When someone discovers another leader, church, ministry, or One Church One Day initiative in their area, they will be able to submit a contact request through the website. Their message will be securely forwarded without publicly exposing anyone’s private email address.
This is important because the map is not intended merely to display locations. Its purpose is to help relationships form, encourage collaboration, and make it easier for believers in the same city or region to find one another.
Building the Interactive Global Map
The interactive map is the central feature currently under development.
Visitors will eventually be able to explore the world, identify activity within nations, states, counties, cities, and regions, and see where One Church One Day is being explored, launched, or actively implemented.
The map will also distinguish between different types of participation, including:
- One Church One Day locations
- Churches and ministries
- Local and regional leaders
- Trained Ambassadors
- Kingdom League International connections
Our long-term goal is to create a growing picture of prayer, unity, and Kingdom activity around the world while providing practical tools that help people move from awareness to relationship and from relationship to action.
More Than a Website
1Church1Day.org is not simply another ministry website.
It is being developed as a mobilization and connection platform. It’s the start that leads us right back into the CONECT strategic communication plan I developed more than 30 years ago.
The website will introduce people to the One Church One Day strategy, explain the Prayer Wall, share testimonies, provide access to books and training resources, and help leaders identify others who share a burden for their city or region.
Over time, we envision the platform helping to connect churches, strengthen local prayer efforts, identify emerging leaders, and encourage the formation of citywide and regional teams.
The ultimate vision remains the same:
One Church in every city, every county, every region, every state, and every nation—for King Jesus.
What Comes Next
The immediate focus is on completing the first functional version of the map, refining the registration and contact process, and making the purpose of the website clear and easy to understand.
This first version will not contain every feature we envision. It is the foundation upon which the larger platform will be built.
As participation grows, we will continue developing the tools, training, communication systems, and leadership connections necessary to serve a global movement.
We are grateful for everyone who has prayed, supported, partnered with, and participated in One Church One Day over the years. Your faithfulness has helped bring us to this important stage.
Please continue to pray for wisdom, provision, skilled partners, and the successful completion of this next phase.
Together, we are helping prepare the way for churches and Kingdom leaders to pray, connect, mobilize, and work together for the transformation of their communities.
Pray. Connect. Mobilize. Transform.
