That is what David said in 1 Samuel 17:29 when the Philistine’s champion, Goliath, was facing down the armies of Israel. He came to the camp, saw how the armies of Israel were frozen by fear and he spoke up. His brothers were angered, most likely through embarrassment, to which David appealed to a higher purpose saying, “is there not a cause?”
Did you know 1 Samuel 17:4 is the first place in the Bible where we see the word champion used. “And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath….” The champion was huge, a descendant of the Nephilim. The offspring of fallen angel’s interaction with women. He represented the peoples of five cities who united together to overthrow Israel’s government. Fear, great fear, gripped the armies of the living God.
The Philistines don’t exist anymore, but there is an alliance of nations and world leaders. They are usually of socialist origins, with elites such as George Soros or Bill Gates, organizations such as the World Economic Forum (WEF), the United Nations (UN), the World Health Organization (WHO), families who’ve controlled great wealth for centuries such as the Rothschilds or Rockefellers, bankers and others who want to control the worlds resources just like the Philistines wanted to control and lord over Israel. They are an unholy cabal; giant influencers on the world stage.
They will use terms like the New World Order, globalism or now, the Great Reset. In a recent youtube Kynan Bridges in “The Great Wealth Transfer and the Global Economic Reset” describes how the elites were beginning to lose some of their wealth and control and it was their intention to use the Great Reset to regain their control over the wealth. But here is a key. God has a great transfer of wealth planned to. God’s plan existed first and Satan and his children have always sought to pervert or stop God’s plan and His people. The transfer of wealth is for God’s purpose and a great end-time harvest.
It’s like the Philistines have come up against Israel again today. Only it is the global elites who have coined the phrase the “Great Reset” and their champion, like Goliath, is the World Economic Forum (WEF). The WEF is where world powers, the giants of industry, and global elites meet to plan our future.
Here’s what I mean. In WEF’s article “COVID 19: The Four Building Blocks of the Great Reset,” they say they want to 1. Change your mindset. 2. Create new metrics. 3. Design new Incentives. 4. Build genuine connection. Then they go on to state their real intention with this question. “What is the World Economic Forum Doing to Champion Social Innovation.”
The WEF has become the global elite’s champion in this Great Reset like Goliath was the Philistine’s champion. It seems like much of the Church is paralyzed by fear due to the size and power of these global elites.
Think about it. They only want you to change your mind. Social innovation. They want to brain wash you to accept a worldview that is contrary to God’s values and word. For example, consider these articles from their website which illustrates their worldview on family, abortion, or sexuality.

Where is the Davidic Generation?
Where is the Church who will rise, like David, seemingly alone, small and insignificant, who will rise to meet this challenge saying “is there not a cause?” I submit to you, they are there. They’ve been on the back side of seeming insignificance busy about our Father’s business. Hidden like David yet being prepared for such a time as this.
These are the ones who recognize what we really face. They will respond like David saying, 1 Samuel 17:26…. “For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” They will say like David in 1 Samuel 17:45-46 “Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and…”
Hear a Just Cause O Lord
In this Great Reset, is there not a cause? I submit that there is. In fact, it is a just cause. The prize is the wealth of nations. The world thinks of that as gold and silver power and control, but we think of this from heaven’s perspective. The issue at hand my friends is our Father’s will and the eternal destiny of men and women in heaven or in hell. The resources and freedoms are for a great harvest of souls out of every tribe, tongue, people and nation. In God’s economy that is where the value really is. That is who He sent His Son to die for, and it is He whom we live for.
It’s time for the army of God to arise like whom the world has never seen and was prophesied in Joel 2:1-11. It’s time for the remnant Church to arise in a just cause.
King David penned Psalms 17:1 where he said, ” Hear a just cause, O LORD, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.
