How to defeat fear and anxiety through covenant and walk carefree in these last days. Not careless, but rather care free.
Yesterday, I met with our apostolic council of elders for Kingdom League. Ron, who heads up Grace Ministries in Quilcene Washington shared a simple and powerful insight. It had to do with our walk in Christ. We get to walk carefree (care-free or “care” free). That does not mean there won’t be any challenges or struggles. There certainly will be. Why? Because are human. We often act careless.
Check this out. 1 Peter 5:5-9 provides context as it says, “Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. (NKJV)”
Covenant is Key to the Victory
We were born into a spiritual war. Revelation 12 makes it very clear how much Satan hates God’s people and this spiritual war, this persecution, has been going on since time began. The key to walking in victory is understanding God’s covenant with mankind. This is so critical in these last days as when you consider current events such as described in Responding to the Prophets Warning about War and Anarchy, it is easy to fall into fear. But you don’t have to. With that in mind, let me share with you some insight into how you can use covenant to stay free.
