How many lies will it take before you question the source? I marvel at how many have lied and continue to lie and yet people still listen to the originators of the same. How long will you continue listening or watching those who’ve lied to you?
The lack of truth and seeming inability to exercise any form of critical thinking is only surpassed by the apathy. What apathy am I referring to? Today it seems like almost everyday we see another report that confirms the concerns that people with morals, a gift of discernment, a prophetic gift and or scientific discipline expressed in 2020. They were censored, banned, labeled as kooks, conspiracy theorists etc…
I made a joke in the YouTube. I said, “Do you know what the call a conspiracy theorist from 2020?” RIGHT!
That’s about the time that “Fact Checkers” became so prevelant and influential. You know, “Fact Checkers,” which I prefer to refer to as “Fake Checkers” never seemed to be an issue until the truth began to get out. The condition in our society and world today underscores the great need for believers to exercise discernment and good judgment.
I submit to you, you will find wisdom in God’s word. Jesus taught us to judge the source? In 1 Corinthians 2 Paul admonishes us to judge words and actions. The body of Christ has to mature so that it can discern not only the information, is it true or not, but who is speaking it? What’s their motive?
