“Confronting Social Media Hysteria with a Biblical Worldview” uses social media’s response to Trump and DOGE to expose lies, address corruption and reveal truth. I saw a man responding to President Trump’s steps to bring fiscal accountability and remove corruption in foreign aide through DOGE. They were angered that it would affect refugee camps serving his nation. It just so happened to be a people group we’d been working with for over a decade. In fact, the junta bombed our house of prayer, shot an intercessor, killed pastors, bombed churches and much more. In other words, love for these people had moved our heart with compassion and action for years. That provided the context for my response.
I noted that everyone’s anger and vitriol hate was directed towards President Trump. They said, “how is that action not terrorism?” I responded illustrating the dramatic difference between actual terrorism and a government seeking to address corruption, fraud, waste, abuse and corruption. Then I revealed the actual funding that DOGE cut. $45 million for DEI scholarships in Burma.
I see this as one of the first lessons in the School of Tyrannus (Tyrants). I revealed how immature the Church is and how God gave us the School of Tyrants to help us mature. That was the basis for Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. It provided context for the contents of that book which shares with us the role of the Church, it’s government, and how it is positioned for spiritual war.
The first war that must be won, is within ourselves. It is ruling over emotions while responding in the love of God which requires, truth, and justice to accompany mercy.
This whole situation highlights the revelation in, The Church Has Entered the School of Tyrants in these End Times. What is the revelation? It is that tyranny is always linked to some form of idolatry. In this video below, this first lesson, you will see an example of what I mean.
