Celebrations for everyone connected to KLI are in order. We are thrilled to report that, Carry the Fire, is launching an apostolic resource center called “The Hub” today in Appleton WI. Carry the Fire is an affiliate of KLI founded by Steve and Joan Driessen. As a matter of fact, they are launching it today, January 10, 2024 at the Hilton Garden at 6:30pm Central Time and they’ll continue meeting every Wednesday at the same time and same place.

History Making Celebrations
Much of what I do is hidden. For example, for the last 6 years I’ve hosted the Washington State Apostolic & Prophetic Council every month. We engage leaders from all 7 spheres of society, those who either work in, have authority or responsibility in their specific area. From this we glean a lot of spiritual intel and or natural intelligence that helps inform the prayer targets we develop each month for Washington State. Not everyone in this council is a member of or a minister of KLI. But we have built a relationship based upon our desire to see our Father’s will done in Washington State. It’s an example of “kingdom collaboration.” What unites us is a desire to see Christ’s gospel of the kingdom presented. That is much more than just salvation but that is a topic for another time.
Those that are drawn to KLI are of a different breed for the most part. They are a people of prayer who also put their faith in action initiated by the love of God and informed by the wisdom of God. Here we see a beautiful example of how mobilized, coordinated, concentrated, continual prayer works with the boots on the ground. Those are the ones who put their faith in action with wisdom.
Two of our council members, Sharon from Olympia (you may know her as the Research Mom) and Tina from an apostolic center in Tri-cities give input on our council. They both worked in a major way with Let’s Go Washington. Let’s Go Washington just made history in our state and in the nation.
They just turned in over 2.6 million signatures for all six landmark initiatives. Not one at a time. Six at once.
Because of this council, we were praying into this project since even before its inception. In fact, Sharon played a huge role in pioneering this concept and Tina played a big roll in mobilizing and managing the volunteers. But as they did this work, they carried and utilized the gifts God had given them to not only do God’s will, but to display His character, and love even as they did the work which made history. We have many ministers in KLI who function like this. It’s not traditional “church” as we know it but rather it is “The Church,” the ekklesia who is putting their faith into action to see our Father’s will done. It is a beautiful expression of how KLI walks out the fulfillment of it’s vision and missions.
I think it is an expression of Ephesians 3:10 which says, “T0 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places…” Guess what, principalities and powers in heavenly places look for a host to work through. They need hands, feet and a mouth to work in this realm so they seek offices that make laws, policies and impact populations. Our heavenly Father has chosen to work through His people. He wants us to be His hands extended, proclaimers of truth and doers of that which is right and just. He needs our feet to carry the good news. That’s why in 2 Chronicles 16:9:
“…the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…”
The citizens in the state of Washington were served through this sacrifice, history was made, a new strategy was pioneered (example of aposotlic gifts at work) and Jesus is glorified as the real ekklesia gets out of the four walls to actually engage society in the market place. It is the Church on the move.
