A Homeland Worth Fighting For was prepared by Troy Green, an elder in KLI and the apostolic founder of Northwest Life Center. It’s a word for the remnant, a people he is praying the Lord find worthy to be chosen for such a time as this.
I hope you enjoy and are inspired through Troy’s insight.

A Homeland Worth Fighting For
It is July 5th, 2025, as I prepare this message. We are in the season of celebrating our nation’s independence and I am truly grateful for the freedom we have in America, and I do not intend to diminish our great nation in any way nor discredit those who have sacrificed so much for the freedoms that we all enjoy. What I do intend to do is point out that there is a greater cause and purpose at hand, and it is bearing down on us. We are being enlisted into this war. In the book of Hebrews, we read about the call of Abraham and how He saw the end result of Gods plan and purpose.
Hebrews 11:8-16
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
Many have been led to believe that they are going to heaven after they die and that they will live there as some kind of being doing something but not really sure what. We can be assured of our future and base our hope in the age to come. This current state of being is temporary but also very important as far as determining our future in the age to came. John the Apostle knew that heaven was not the answer to his future and he especially knew that the current state of the earth was not to be desired.
Johns earthly ministry was one that any true follower of Jesus would be satisfied with. He was the disciple who knew His worth to Jesus, he was chosen to the caretaker of Mary and he was boiled in oil and survived. He wrote significant portions of the New testament and was taken up into heaven. The result of being transported to the throne room was tears. Why was He crying in heaven having seen all the glory?
Revelation 5:1-5 – And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.
John wept because if no one opened the scroll nothing would change, people would be born, and some born again, but the earth and men would remain corruptible. He rejoiced in the salvation of the soul but He understood the redemption of the body and the transformation of the earth was the ultimate fulfillment of God purpose for creation. Consider this passage of scripture that I have come to see as the crux of the entire scripture and purpose of God.
Ephesians 1:9-10 – having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.
There is a future marriage that is going to consummated by the heavenly realm and the earth realm becoming one! This will be the fulness of Gods purpose and plan for His Son, for man and all of creation. I am convinced that the scroll that Jesus took from the Father is the same scroll that is opened in the Book of Revelation. The book of Revelation is the revealing of the King of the earth and His battle plan to drive evil off of earth and transform His people into what they are created to be. We should live our lives in this current age with and hopeful expectation of this future reality.
Titus 2:11-13 – For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ…
I am convinced that The Father is calling for a church that will join Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus knew the cup He was about to drink was bitter and difficult but He surrendered His will and became willing to drink it because of the reward He would receive on the other side of the cross.
Hebrews 12:2 – looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
We also are being called to drink a bitter cup called the Great Tribulation. Jesus cried out on the cross, “My God My God why have You forsaken me?” In the tribulation God will turn His saints over to the will of the Anti-Christ. This may sound horrible but it is the only way the church will become the pure and spotless bride.
Revelation 13:7 – It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.
Daniel 7:25 – He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.
It was granted to him by God and authority was given to Him by God and the saints are given over to him by God!
This is a sobering message but I believe it is the clarion call of the church in this hour. Having studied every eschatology that I am aware of, all but one have one thing in common, the church is removed from this glorious hour of following Jesus to the cross of forsakenness. I am praying that I be found worthy to be in this glorious company of saints chosen from before the foundation of the world for such a time as this. It will be a time of intensity like no other, but we shall overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
We will say to one another, be of good cheer because the seventh trumpet is about to sound!
Revelation 11:15 – Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”
Mathew 24:31 – And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Cointhians 15:52 – in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
To the saints the seventh trumpet will be the sweetest sound ever heard, to adversary it will be the sound of doom and the end of his reign of terror. John and Abraham and all the saints long for this day and they are all waiting for a church that will come into alignment with Gods purpose and say, “Nevertheless not my will but Thy will be done.” Northwest Life Center, in alignment with the vision of LKI, has been birthed by God to raise up 1000 hardcore, born again, spirit filled, fearless prayer warriors, sold out for the call of God on their lives, each one operating at 100 percent of their calling.
