The Strategy

God’s Presence Changes Everything! 

This strategy is a modern expression of an ancient pattern inspired by King David in the tabernacle on Zion.  Leaders from over 38 nations have reported  it helped them in launch houses of prayer, plant churches, transform their communities and unite the Church from Presbyterian to Pentecostal and from Catholic to Charismatic. It connects leaders in the 7 spheres of culture with intercession. It is powerful, effective, reproducible and cross cultural. 

1Church1Day (One Church One Day) shares not only how we build a house of prayer in our community but is also a way we can become an answer to Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21 where He prayed that we would be one.

We use a simple 4 step strategy inspired by King David & Nehemiah to build a wall of prayer and set a watch, family by family and church by church.

Councils are formed in the Seven Spheres & 5-Fold

The strategy initiates a process that enables leaders to form councils and take the first steps to develop prayer and action strategies appropriate for their community.

On pages 34 and 35, I share an event that took place at the Hour of Prayer Conference I spoke at in Bellevue, Washington, in 2013, hosted by Dr. Ziga of Grace for All Nations. This is the video that the barcode on page 35 directs you to.

We had lunch between my first and second sessions, during which a sign and wonder in the sky was captured in a photograph. Things like this have happened more than 85 times over the last 30+ years I’ve been pioneering this strategy. More than 30 people witnessed it, King 5 News reported it, and I was able to interview one of the eyewitnesses.  The video includes their testimony.

Least churched county in the US in 2006 sees congregations multiply from 105 to 180 in six years after employing this strategy. ​ In 2007 one church reported adding 1000 in just seven months.
Salvations
FBI reports crime in every major city in Washington declined in 2007. Yakima saw a 50% decrease and police chief cannot explain it. Seattle reached a 40 year low. The strategic prayer mobilized through this strategy. 2008
Crime Impacted
County Commissioner reports they're suffering the worst whooping cough epidemic in the state. Requests prayer! Cases decline dramatically from over 1000 to zero in 6 weeks in 2011.
Epidemic Stopped
Teacher in a school for at risk youth requests prayer for student test scores. Test scores more than doubled in one semester with students reaching the highest scores in her 23 year career. 2016​
Education
A drought was broken in Kansas in 2009 during the first few days the strategy was launched with more rain in one day than in previous 7 years. Five months later their harvest was so large they asked for help storing grain from 2 other states.
Drought & Economy
City government & business councils request prayer for economy. They pray for 500 jobs. Unemployment rate drops for 1st time in 5 years and two new companies move to the city creating hundreds of jobs beyond their goal of 500. 2016

Church & Community Leaders

This video is 8 years old.  The principles and framework are still the same.  However, One Church One Day’s tools are being overhauled. Why I even expect us to launch the strategic communication system that accompanies this strategy soon as well. 

Operation Rolling Thunder, which is the previous version of One Church One Day will be replaced in 3 months  by my new book series, “One Church One Day.”  In the next year I plan to consolidate and organize everything we’ve learned and proven to equip catalytic leaders to transform their communities.  Build the Wall, the book below, will be part of that series and it is a great place to start now.

Tim Taylor is the architect this strategy. Formerly this strategy was called Operation Rolling Thunder (2005-2014) and prior to that CONECT (Christian Outreach Network Establishing Church-wide Teamwork – 1992-2004).
